About a year and a half after its launch, the Simply Unum integrated benefits platform for small to midsize employers is now available in every state across the U.S. In addition, new voluntary disability benefits and flexible funding options are available in 40 states and the District of Columbia.
California, Hawaii and Maryland were among the last states to begin offering this comprehensive solution, which is now bolstered by Benefit Credits. That program allows employers to contribute a set dollar amount toward their employees’ coverage.
Several enhancements to the platform that build on customer-focused offerings and flexibility are expected within the next few years – the result of listening carefully to employer feedback.
